Do I qualify?
Eligibility depends on your finances and your diagnosis. For garment grants, you may qualify if all of these are true:

- ✓My gross monthly household income is below 200% of the federal poverty level.
- ✓I’ve had surgery to treat breast cancer.
- ✓I have a doctor’s order or referral for a breast prosthesis.
Garment Fund Initiative
Garments that help restore symmetry and balance after surgery, for both physical and emotional recovery. Reconstruction isn’t every woman’s choice, and for some it isn’t an option.
Products are provided only through Lisa’s Pink Petals of Hope participating stores.
Breast Health Screening Initiative
One in eight women will be affected by breast cancer. We give free mammogram vouchers to uninsured and low-income women ages 40–49 through local imaging centers and mobile screening units. Women outside that age range may qualify if they meet other program criteria.
Requirements: you must live in Hillsborough or a surrounding county and have an income below 200% of the federal poverty level.
Patient Advocate Liaison Service
Cancer affects all of us. PALS gives patients and survivors peer support, encouragement, and resources, and brings in families, friends, healthcare providers, and the wider community.
One-on-one and small-group emotional support and advocacy, so someone is there to hold your hand from diagnosis into survivorship.
Interactive 30–45 minute sessions led by a Certified Mastectomy Fitter (ABC-certified), available for groups of any size.
Lisa Marie Humanitarian Scholarship
Named for Lisa Marie, this one-time educational grant supports Florida high school seniors affected by a family breast cancer diagnosis or planning to study a related field.
- Graduating high school senior
- Florida resident
- Affected by a family breast cancer diagnosis, or pursuing a related field
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Enrolled or enrolling full-time at an accredited 2- or 4-year U.S. college
An independent committee considers community involvement, the essay, academic record, and work experience. All decisions are final, and no feedback is given on applications.
A one-time grant that can’t be renewed. We announce the deadline and award amounts each year.
LPPOH board members, selection committee members, program staff, and their families are not eligible.
