We serve women diagnosed with breast cancer who have little or no insurance, or whose finances keep them from getting the essentials they need to recover.

Lisa’s story

Lisa Marie was a loving mother of two daughters, a U.S. Army veteran, an advocate, and an entrepreneur. She volunteered with her daughters’ school PTAs, taught youth Sunday school, and was working toward law school when she was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer.

April 2011
Diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer, Lisa saw how little information patients were given. She began putting together information packets on surgery options, treatments, clinical trials, patient rights, and the garments women need after a lumpectomy or mastectomy.
November 2011
She co-founded A New You Pink Boutique, a place where women could feel special while being fitted for the garments they needed, and where she shared her faith. For women facing hardship, she started an Angel Closet stocked with gently used items donated by fellow survivors.
April 8, 2013
Her cancer returned in 2012, and Lisa passed away at age 48.

Lisa’s Pink Petals of Hope was founded to keep her legacy and vision alive.
2017
The Lisa Marie Humanitarian Scholarship was established in her name.

Today, we’ve reached thousands of individuals and families through our four programs, and we work with organizations, manufacturers, and service providers who share one goal: helping every underserved woman recover from breast cancer with dignity.

Our mission is to serve the needs of individuals and families affected by breast cancer.
