Patient Advocate Liaison Service (PALS)

Lisa’s Pink Petals of Hope offers patient advocate liaison service that
provides education awareness, patients and survivors peer support that
includes encouragement, knowledge, trust, and resources to help them in
their fight and recovery of breast cancer. Cancer affects us all and LPPOH
wants to engage survivors, family members, friends, healthcare providers
and the community in the fight against cancer.

Education

Our education awareness sessions offers a 30-45 minute presentation, delivered by a Certified Mastectomy Licensed Fitter through the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics, Inc. Generally rendered with a large number of
attendance.

Our workshops covers:

General Breast Health 
o Women’s Health and Cancer Rights Act of 1998 (WHCRA) 
o Your Rights After A Mastectomy 
o Products/Stages of Recovery
o Hair Replacement  
o Long Term Patient Care 
o Insurance Coverage

LPPOH Educational Workshop is interactive and empowers women
to become more informed.

Survivor Support

This program offers emotional support for one on one, small groups, and advocacy that provides comfort of knowing someone is there to hold your hand throughout your journey and into survivorship.
